By immigrating to America during industrialization, many people were given a better place to live, and brought culture with them.
Effects of Immigration
Many people were given a better place to start over in, and either escape what was pushing them away, or gain what was pulling them to America
When people immigrated in mass, they often stuck together. This way they would preserve their cultural heritage and provide each other with a sense of familiarity of language and customs in a new land.
Many immigrants found work in America
They sometimes established their own churches, schools, newspapers, and other ways of sticking together
Because of this, many cultures were brought to America, but were individually preserved, instead of completely assimilating upon
